Teaching scuba diving allows you to share your love of the aquatic world with others while doing what you enjoy – being in, around and underwater.

What are the core PADI professional courses offered?

Professional PADI courses begin at the PADI Divemaster level. As a PADI Rescue Diver Course, or equivalent, you are ready to become a PADI Divemaster Candidate. Once you have successfully earned that rating you can enroll in the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). This course has two segments the first segment is the PADI Assistant Instructor course (AI) and the second is the Open Water Scuba Instructor course (OWSI). To become an OWSI Instructor you would attend an Instructor Examination (IE) conducted by PADI staff monthly throughout the world.

Continuing your diving education keeps the job fun and profitable.

Our Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep program consist of five PADI Specialty Instructor ratings but it is so much more than that. You learn how to prepare the course, layout the training, tips and techniques for selling the courses to your students.  This course is taken exclusively with a Course Director and is designed that you can get your specialty instructor training while still an IDC Candidate.

PADI Specialty Instructor Courses are available to allow you to teach all of the great specialties that PADI offers. Prerequisites vary by specialty but as a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and/or Open Water Scuba Instructor you can become PADI Specialty Instructors with the Course Director.

To enroll in the Instructor Examination (IE) you need to be a CPR and First Aid Instructor. The Emergency First Response Instructor (EFR) course will complete this requirement. This two day course is offered in addtion to your IDC. PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors can become EFR Instructors. Since your Rescue students will need CPR and First Aid, you will use the rating almost immediately.

As a Divers Alert Network (DAN) Instructor Trainer, the course director offers many of the DAN Instructor Level courses. Most of these courses tie in nicely with many of the PADI dive courses and being a DAN Instructor allows you to increase your revenue potential.
